Mr. Marc Cabrera joined Oppenheimer as a Managing Director in 2013 and serves as Co-Head of Healthcare Investment Banking where he covers the physician services, managed care and post-acute sectors. Previously, Mr. Cabrera worked in Healthcare Investment Banking at Morgan Joseph, Bear Stearns and Smith Barney. During his 25 year career on Wall Street, Mr. Cabrera has closed more than 125 transactions valued at approximately $17 billion and has served as an advisor on a number of noteworthy transactions in the managed care and physician services sectors. Notable transactions that were advised by Mr. Cabrera include the sale of InHealth MD Alliance to TA Associates, the merger of three leading GI practices in Pennsylvania to form US Digestive Health in partnership with Amulet Capital, the sale of Community Medical Group to Centene and the sale of HealthSun to Summit Partners. Mr. Cabrera serves on the board of directors of Pinnacle Family Services, a provider of community-based services for at-risk youth in the Southeast U.S. He received a bachelor degree from Babson College where he graduated first in his class.
